just when everybody thought the blog was dead..................

IT HAS BEEN REVIVED!!!!!

HAHAH. mitchell here, boys, just to update you all.

news wise, the dinner, for those of you who don't know, is at sakura clementi. i'm thinking it's a little weird location wise, but then again i know there's a sakura somewhere that has the supposedly 'best' buffet among all, so that could be the one. answers, thoughts, opinions anyone?

i was thinking somewhere closer to town, because i want to form a tradition that the warriors who can drink WILL drink, and not only that, they WILL get uproariously drunk! that was supposed to happen last year. i'd like to tell you all that it was a good memory, but then i don't have that memory. i was wasted. the rest were pretty sober though, so ask them. heh.

for more serious stuff though, i need to say that i've been feeling a little emo recently. reason being, our seniors are leaving. no more captain has AKA bapak jahat to grab your ass, and ask you to get 'turned on' during the pre-game team talks, no more david 'hunter' chow to crack silly jokes and then scare seven shades of shit out of an opponent all in the same day, no more having the opposition boot the ball deep into our midfield and have our vice-cap kenny half volley it out of the 22 again, cool and calm just like he's in the middle of a soccer match. while we're playing rugby.

i'd personally like to thank each and every year 3 that's leaving this year, for all the examples you guys have set, for being good role models to the rest of us. trust in us that we won't let you guys down.

and on this note, i hope that all of us, the current year 1s and 2s, step up to this challenge; to fill these shoes. i'm not asking you to be the same as our seniors, but to do your best in the sessions to come. train hard, play hard, and we'll get where we want to go.

we'll have more davids, kennys, darrells, and everyone else that we'll ever need, all it takes is our best, to be the best players that we can possibly be. nothing more nothing less.
